Many of the reviews I’ve seen out there for the new Olympus Pen series cameras compare them to full featured DSLRs or point-and-shooters. They fall short of the former and exceed the latter in performance. But these types of comparisons leave the E-P2 on shaky ground. What, exactly, is it, and what is it good for? I want to clarify that the E-P2 is trying to be precisely what it is: an immensely capable, compact camera that has the potential to produce beautiful work. Having owned it for only two days, I can already see that it is going to help me grow as a photographer, and it is well built, well laid out, and very pleasant to use. I considered the Canon 2ti Rebel, and in my price range that was the only other choice. Look at that one if you want a full-on DSLR. But if you are looking for a small, capable, beautiful camera, get the PEN e-P2. So far, it has only made me smile.
A NOTE ABOUT THE AUTO-FOCUS GRIPES: As soon as you get this camera, download the firmware updates. When I first unpacked the camera and tried it out, I was not impressed with the speed or accuracy of the focus. It would roll out to infinity and back quite often before settling. When I installed the firmware upgrade, the auto-focus was a new beast. It is faster and more accurate. I think you will be pleased.
I gave this camera four stars because I had to give it something. I’d like to just review it without rating it at this point.

AmbiCom WST-KIT Wireless Stereo Headphone Kit Customer Review

It took some trials and errors to get the hang of how these headphones were paired, but once I learned to count to at least 12 before releasing the two connection buttons(one thousand one, one thousand two, etc.)it is the best unit I have tried. The sound is excellent; the earpieces are comfortable and lightweight. The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is the volume control. The location and size of the plus and minus buttons make them hard to press. It is necessary to take the earpiece off and use your fingernail in order to adjust the sound. Considering all of the other pluses for this product, this is a small inconvenience.

This camera had awesome picture quality, probably the best I have seen so far. They definitely did a good job with this cam. The problem I had was that the size of the camera itself combined with the contrasting black bracket made it impossible to conceal or blend in at all. I should’ve believed the measurements on the product page but for some reason I assumed it was listing the box size. It also has a faint red glow from the LED’s when they are on, which isn’t all that noticable. The night vision is amazing on this cam, the best I’ve seen so far. The camera itself feels very solid and has an aluminum case. The bracket feels like a good solid metal bracket but the part that swivels and tilts up and down is plastic that doesn’t feel all that durable at all. All in all a great camera if the size doesn’t bother you!

I have had X10 system for about ten years and I thought they were good but I like these cameras better because of the night vision.
The cameras and receiver are compatable with the X10 system so I can swithes any camera as well as the receiver.
The receiver will switch between three cameras automatic. A very good feature.
One of my cameras seem to have frequency problems in cold weather
I wish they had more of a range than they do. My main camera is about 60 feet from the receiver and through alum. siding but the X10 camera had no problem.

I bought this camera for my wife for her trip to Peru. She broke the last point-and-shoot I bought her and I’m actually glad she did! This camera takes fantastic photos, and I do mean fantastic! I told my wife she needed to review the manual with this one and really learn how to use her camera so she could get the most out of it. I’m not sure she really needed to because the easy function is really, well, easy. The vividness of the colors in the shots was simply outstanding.

The zoom was one of the main reasons I chose this camera because I knew she would be in the mountains and be taking a lot of scenery shots. With 12MP you can crop quite a bit but the zoom did come in handy.

The only cons I can think of is the night shot settings. I think the easy button doesn’t quite cut it there, but with manual settings I’m sure it will work just fine. Also, the first shot speed is a bit lagged (confirming what was reported in Consumer Reports).

All in all I’m very happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonably priced compact camera with a short learning curve. (when I saw all of the photos she took I had to ask her when she became such good photographer!)

I love Kata camera bags and already own a DR-467 backpack that is big enough for all my gear including my laptop, but it is kind of heavy to carry around everyday.
