Sony DCR-SR45 30GB Hard Drive Handycam Camcorder with 40x Optical Zoom Customer Review

I was looking for a inexpensive camcorder with Night shot and stablization for our Paranormal investigation group. I also wanted a hard drive so we wouldn’t have to change DVD’s or tapes every hour. I found this display model SR45 for a little more then 0.00. I was really pleasently surprised by what I got.
I found that I could record on HQ for almost 6 hours and on standard for over 10 hours. The night vision was perfect, and the cameras internal Mic picked up sound just as well as out top of the line olympus DVR. The FH100 battey powers the camera for 5 hours(battery was extra) When you attach the camera to a wall plug in, on a tripod, and with a large IR emitter you get the best night shot video I’ve ever seen. Later we transferred all the video’s to a DVD via a DVD burner….the group was very impressed. For an older model Camcorder we couldn’t have found anything better at 4 times the price.
Its light , easy to handle, instructions are simple, easy to transferr videos, and you can also do videos or stills on the memorie card.
If your looking for a low budger Video camera we recomend the SR45

Sony Mdrnc22/Blk Noise Canceling Headphone (Black) Customer Review

I had a pair of these to travel to Europe with. On the negative side, I always find the in-ear buds tend to irritate my ears over a period. On the plus side, I could watch my own movies on my iPhone and watching the in-flight entertainment was much better than with the supplied headsets. Yes, there will be a background hiss but I found it was much better than the normal background sounds on the plane.

In the end, I fell asleep with them in and the noise-cancelling turned on. Unfortunately, when I woke up and returned my seat to the upright position, the battery compartment got jammed in the seat mechanisms and broke. So, now I’m about to order a new set from Amazon. Yes, I liked them enough to just buy the same set again.

Sony 25CRM80RX CD-R Audio Color in Color Slim Jewel Cases (25-Pack) Customer Review

I have used Sony, Maxell, TDK and Memorex. Memorex is my least favorite of the four as the sound quality is not as good as the others. Sony, however, is the best. I’ve read reviews on all CD-R Music recordable CDs and some have stated they have problems including skipping and poor sound reproduction. While Sony is light years ahead of Maxell and Memorex (especially Memorex), I don’t understand the problems some reviewers have had. I have had no problems and have used all (mostly Sony) for nearly two years with excellent results. Perhaps some simply do not take care of their CDs (mishandling, scratching them, not putting them back in the case after play, using inferior equipment to record/burn, etc.) I have burned over 100 CDs using the Sony CD-Rs and, in some cases, the Sony CD sounds better than the original CD or LP. I burn CDs using my laptop and also my Sony CD recorder. I’ve burned songs from my iTunes library (excellent sound quality!!) and from old records (both 45s and LPs) and have been very pleased. Making my own compilation CDs from my personal CD collection has also been rewarding with these Sony CD-Rs. So, forget the bad reviews. Sony has always been top quality in everything electronic and, likewise, their music CD-Rs are the best. If you are looking for a rewriteable CD (CD-RW), I also recommend the TDK. I’ve discovered the CD-RW comes in handy if you are wanting to convert your vinyl collection as there may be times when you’ll need to erase recorded tracks due to operator error. Keep in mind, though, that CD-Rs seem to have better sound quality than CD-RWs. Also, remember that you must use “music” CDs for best quality. My only complaint is now Sony is no longer including the CD inserts with their 20-packs. I prefer to use these slimline inserts to handwrite my tracks as opposed to using the printable inserts. None of the others provide CD inserts either. I also like the slimline cases as they take up less space.

Sony NPFF71 F Series Battery for MicroMV Camcorders Customer Review

When I purchased my Sony MiniDV several years ago, I knew that I would subject the machine to heavy usage. The supplied battery just wasn’t enough. So I decided to invest in a back-up battery.

My choice would be the Sony NPFF71 F Series battery. After fully charging this thing, I put it to use; I was definately not dissapointed. The damn thing held strong for over 4 hours of usage(I only used the viewfinder, which extends battery life).

If you do a lot of recording, I would definately recommend that you invest in this Sony battery. It will give you many hours of trouble-free recording.
