This is a very nice digital frame. The online pictures don’t do the red color justice. And I would say the size is a little bigger than the impression I got as well. It’s very easy to setup and control. The included remote is a very nice touch too. I was looking for a inexpensive camcorder with Night shot and stablization for our Paranormal investigation group. I also wanted a hard drive so we wouldn’t have to change DVD’s or tapes every hour. I found this display model SR45 for a little more then 0.00. I was really pleasently surprised by what I got.
I found that I could record on HQ for almost 6 hours and on standard for over 10 hours. The night vision was perfect, and the cameras internal Mic picked up sound just as well as out top of the line olympus DVR. The FH100 battey powers the camera for 5 hours(battery was extra) When you attach the camera to a wall plug in, on a tripod, and with a large IR emitter you get the best night shot video I’ve ever seen. Later we transferred all the video’s to a DVD via a DVD burner….the group was very impressed. For an older model Camcorder we couldn’t have found anything better at 4 times the price.
Its light , easy to handle, instructions are simple, easy to transferr videos, and you can also do videos or stills on the memorie card.

I had a pair of these to travel to Europe with. On the negative side, I always find the in-ear buds tend to irritate my ears over a period. On the plus side, I could watch my own movies on my iPhone and watching the in-flight entertainment was much better than with the supplied headsets. Yes, there will be a background hiss but I found it was much better than the normal background sounds on the plane.

In the end, I fell asleep with them in and the noise-cancelling turned on. Unfortunately, when I woke up and returned my seat to the upright position, the battery compartment got jammed in the seat mechanisms and broke. So, now I’m about to order a new set from Amazon. Yes, I liked them enough to just buy the same set again.

Sony 25CRM80RX CD-R Audio Color in Color Slim Jewel Cases (25-Pack) Customer Review

I have used Sony, Maxell, TDK and Memorex. Memorex is my least favorite of the four as the sound quality is not as good as the others. Sony, however, is the best. I’ve read reviews on all CD-R Music recordable CDs and some have stated they have problems including skipping and poor sound reproduction. While Sony is light years ahead of Maxell and Memorex (especially Memorex), I don’t understand the problems some reviewers have had. I have had no problems and have used all (mostly Sony) for nearly two years with excellent results. Perhaps some simply do not take care of their CDs (mishandling, scratching them, not putting them back in the case after play, using inferior equipment to record/burn, etc.) I have burned over 100 CDs using the Sony CD-Rs and, in some cases, the Sony CD sounds better than the original CD or LP. I burn CDs using my laptop and also my Sony CD recorder. I’ve burned songs from my iTunes library (excellent sound quality!!) and from old records (both 45s and LPs) and have been very pleased. Making my own compilation CDs from my personal CD collection has also been rewarding with these Sony CD-Rs. So, forget the bad reviews. Sony has always been top quality in everything electronic and, likewise, their music CD-Rs are the best. If you are looking for a rewriteable CD (CD-RW), I also recommend the TDK. I’ve discovered the CD-RW comes in handy if you are wanting to convert your vinyl collection as there may be times when you’ll need to erase recorded tracks due to operator error. Keep in mind, though, that CD-Rs seem to have better sound quality than CD-RWs. Also, remember that you must use “music” CDs for best quality. My only complaint is now Sony is no longer including the CD inserts with their 20-packs. I prefer to use these slimline inserts to handwrite my tracks as opposed to using the printable inserts. None of the others provide CD inserts either. I also like the slimline cases as they take up less space.

If you do a lot of recording, I would definately recommend that you invest in this Sony battery. It will give you many hours of trouble-free recording.

IF this HD tuner has such great sound quality, why do so many users seem disappointed with the sound?

The answer is that the sound quality that people hear from their speakers is dependent not only on the tuner, but is necessarily limited by the poorest component in their system. After the signal leaves the tuner, it must pass through connecting wires, amplification equipment and speakers. The signal flowing through these components is analagous to water passing through pipes in a home.- If there is dirt anywhere along the inside of the pipes, dirt will flow out of the faucet.

So for people who play this tuner through a system that has at least one bad sounding component, the sound from the speakers will be bad.

This tuner is so good, that to experience the full impact of its capabilities, a very expensive system is required. I have two of these tuners, one for my home system, and one for the electronics lab at work. Both systems are very good. The work system has components all carefully selected for sound quality, and has an MSRP value of 00. The home system has better components valued at over 000 MSRP. The tuner in the home system sounds much better, but only when the particular program source is of high quality. We find that most popular music is very well recorded with respect to sound quality, but some of it is poor. And this fabulous souding HD tuner played through a 000 system will not make a poor program source sound good. In fact, poor program sources tend to sound better on our cheaper system, because it is less revealing of details.

So it should not be surprising that some people will not hear the beautiful music that this tuner can reproduce. I don’t mean to suggest you need a very expensive system to enjoy and appreciate it, but the result will inevitably be limited by the other components in the system.

The Sony MDR-IF240RK Wireless Headphones are decent value priced headphones that resolved the issue of the sound from my son’s video games bothering us in the living room. In fact, they work substantially better than I expected after reading some of the recent negative reviews posted on Amazon. Here are my observations:

The setup was fairly easy, plug the base unit in with the included power supply, connect the audio cables to the base unit and the source (our TV did not have the correct output for the included cables – See “Cons” below), put in a battery (AAA or the included rechargeable), turn them on and you are in business.

Pros -
+ Easy To Setup – See above
+ Uses Standard AAA or Included Rechargeable Battery (recharges on the base unit)
+ Comfortable Fit – These are fairly lightweight and can be worn for hours
+ Decent Sound Quality – For games and TV, but not for music
+ long Battery Life – The fully charged headphones last for hours and hours, never had them die on me
+ Reasonably Priced

Cons -
+ Limited Connectivity With Included Cables – The set included a cable with composite (RCA connectors) to mini-phone, but my TV had RCA out so had to use my own RCA to RCA cable (not really a problem for me since I had the extra cable on hand)
+ Limited Range – These are IR and work in “line of sight” to the base unit

Overall these are a very good value for a decent set of wireless headphones but they might not be for everyone, especially not for audiophiles or those wanting to roam around from room to room. They work perfectly for our video games and casual TV usage.

Recommended, with the caveats above.
