I bought this typewriter for my Executive Assistant, when her old Brother typewriter broke down. She really likes it – she still has to type bills of lading via typewriter (we are technologically sound otherwise!), and she sometimes isn’t given much notice by the owners when she has to type up 10 or 12 of the bills of lading in a big hurry. This typewriter has it all, is easy to figure out right out of the box, and is relatively quiet when it’s operating. DON’T FORGET TO GET THE 3.5″ FLOPPY DISK DRIVE!! It plugs into your computer and allows you to input all the data you need for whatever project you are doing, it retains formatting, etc., so when you put your sheet of paper or bill of lading in the typewriter, you only have to hit a couple of buttons, and the typewriter types it all for you (read – mostly hands OFF!) It has been a Godsend – I couldn’t find anything else that did what the Assistant needed & feel lucky to have found this! Great product, fast service. A+++
